In the era of rapid digital technological advancement, artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping every aspect of social science research. In the age of big data, data-driven methodologies are increasingly supplanting traditional approaches in social sciences. Computational social sciences, which rely on vast amounts of data, benefit from AI's strengths in data analysis and pattern recognition, enabling deeper insights into social phenomena. The swift development of AI technologies has encouraged interdisciplinary collaboration between computer scientists and social scientists, fostering the creation of innovative methods and tools.
2025 International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Computational Social Sciencess will be held in Beijing, China, from September 19–21, 2025. This event, AICSS aims to bring together researchers and experts from academia and industry to explore how AI can enhance the depth and breadth of social science research. The symposium will focus on analyzing AI applications in addressing social issues, informing policy-making, and optimizing urban planning.
To ensure the highest academic standards and attract more high-quality, original research papers, we are now inviting submissions. We warmly welcome academics, researchers, and students engaged in teaching, research, and related fields of AI and computational social sciences to contribute their work.
